Business Development & Marketing Associate


Job Description

1. Accounts Management 

  • Act as the primary point of contact for incoming client requests, directing them to leadership and project managers. 
  • Organize and lead bi-weekly accounts meetings, including detailed meeting notes. 
  • Assist in business development strategies and support client management. 
  • Oversee client contracts with a focus on renewals, subscription tracking, and template optimization. 
  • Lead compliance efforts, including the implementation of frameworks like SOC 2 (Type I & II) and adherence to data privacy initiatives. 

2. Product Management and Development 

  • Design and manage product roadmaps in collaboration with development teams. 
  • Monitor product progress through development trackers and resolve blockers during weekly meetings. 
  • Align product development goals with overall business and project objectives. 
  • Conduct competitive research to drive product innovation for Excelym IO and NetSuite App solutions. 
  • Develop pricing models and form strategic partnerships to support product growth. 
  • Create go-to-market materials, including whitepapers, demo videos, and blogs. 

3. Marketing and Brand Management 

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility for Excelym IO, Excelym-NetSuite, and ExcelymGO. 
  • Plan and execute outreach campaigns on LinkedIn, Google, and email to generate leads. 
  • Produce SEO-optimized content, oversee social media pages, and drive community engagement. 
  • Conduct market research to inform campaign strategies and optimize performance using tools like Leadfeeder and Klaviyo. 
  • Organize client satisfaction surveys, promotional campaigns, and employee engagement events. 

4. Business Development and Growth 

  • Plan and execute client-facing campaigns, announcements, and promotions. 
  • Manage app marketplace submissions, including technical and administrative requirements. 
  • Provide training on marketplace processes and track performance metrics. 
  • Deliver strategic reports to leadership on growth initiatives and marketplace performance. 

5. Data Security and Compliance 

  • Lead SOC 2 compliance efforts, including policy documentation and ensuring adherence to Type I & II frameworks. 
  • Maintain membership in privacy and data security programs, staying informed on the latest standards. 

6. Marketing and SEO Execution 

  • Manage ad campaigns on LinkedIn, Google, and Facebook to drive lead generation. 
  • Optimize SEO performance using tools like Semrush and Google Search Console. 
  • Produce and edit content for platforms like YouTube and update website structures for better user experience. 
  • Track and maintain first-page SERP rankings for targeted keywords. 

7. Sales and Other Administrative Tasks

  • Create and manage a Revenue Business Intelligence Tool for financial tracking. 
  • Monitor client billing, subscriptions, and accounts receivable. 
  • Maintain contract templates to reduce review times and improve efficiency. 
  • Draft and send contracts to prospect/existing client signatories per STC/ Quote by project management and accounts management
  • Proven track record of managing accounts, product roadmaps, and compliance initiatives. 
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, and lead generation strategies. 
  • Familiarity with tools such as Semrush, Google Search Console, Leadfeeder, and Klaviyo. 
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and analytical skills. 
  • Ideally, applicant must be Cebu-based
